SYNOPSIS

EPISODE 1

Dol realizes it has been so long since he and Minah have known each other and pops the question.  Like any typical married-couples-to-be, his excitement turned frantic as he was introduced to a wedding planner and string of preparations that needed to be done.  While Minah is all geared up for grand celebration, Dol finds himself nervous trying to keep things under control and within budget.  It was only the beginning when their wedding planner reminded them about pre marriage course. 

Also featuring wedding concepts by Fatimah Mohsin and the in trends that you would love to find out especially if you are one of those whose wedding bells are ringing!

EPISODE 2

 

And so the couple registered for their pre marriage course, where they learnt on understanding, and the brutal truth of marriage life from Puan Hamidah Bahashwan.  Discussion with Dol’s family followed suit on who to invite and Dol gets panic trying to balance his accounts.  Also featuring Flipside, wedding cards designer – among the first names you have to keep note for your wedding preparation!

EPISODE 3

 

As more and more checklist needs to be settled, the duo checked out on catering and went for a food tasting session with S Atan Weddings (Contact No : 90030458).  They went to a wedding function where they had the opportunity to view the décor, and wide spread of buffet and catering packages.  Dol’s family had a discussion on the essentials and transition between the past and present.  The pressure accelerated as they have to start thinking of who to invite, bertandang, and more.  Fatimah Mohsin offers advise and suggestions of wedding dais and it’s package.

Meanwhile, Minah brought Dol over to Siti’s Delights to find out more on wedding cakes and then tries to make one too.  At Perfect Frosting, they checked out on cute cupcakes as alternative and variety.

EPISODE 4

 

The lovebirds went to a KL trip as Minah plans to bring Dol around for some of Malaysia’s variety and what they have in store for their wedding preparation.  In KL, Minah met with her old friend, Fahrin Ahmad and Dol got emotionally jealous.  Fahrin brought them over to meet a young and famous designer, Jovian Mandagie. 

They decided to gain the best of both world by having designers from both Malaysia and Singapore.  With WeddingCars.SG, they receed on wedding cars and its décor, and Minah dreams of being treated like a princess with a horse carriage.

 

EPISODE 5

Minah dreamt of her getting old and got paranoid when there wasn’t any images of their wedding rings. She was awaken by a mysterious phonecall.

The couple went to KL for an appointment with CandidSyndrome, one of the most sought after photographer in Malaysia.  They enquire more from Fatimah Mohsin on studio photoshoots and met Flipside Weddings for wedding videography and wedding MTV.  Minah mention on her high hopes of having famous singers as part of the wedding and urge Dol to find out more on wedding entertainment.  Sri Mahligai, a traditional ensemble plays live music for weddings and they will be featured in this episode. 

 

Minah got suspicious after seeing Dol with another woman.

 

EPISODE 6

Dol & Minah started to look out for the best wedding bands and finds out more on it with Soo Kee Jewellery.  Wedding Planner recommends OurMidasTouch for the couple’s hantaran (wedding gifts) decoration and as they find out more on the significant of those, Minah tries out a DIY hantaran.

They checked out a room décor in progress from Fatimah Mohsin Wedding Gallery and asked more on the concepts for room décor.

 

EPISODE 7

As the day gets nearer, the couple began their hunt for houses and consult in a housing agent, Ms Yati Rozman from Propnex for more insights on house application.  Dol’s mother began to get emotional as the eldest son will be moving out after marriage. Daddy pointed out the importance of inviting relatives, those near and far and the vital point of adat bersembah. 

Meanwhile, Minah found Dol with another woman, at another day and began to get crazily suspicious.  Dol brought Minah to the heavenly ShangriLa Rasa Sentosa for a to show his honeymoon idea trip.  Minah, impressed with the idea and as typical as she is, dreams of a resort above waters and a golf resort.  (Check out more on these honeymoon spots HERE)

They seek better ideas and had an elaborate discussion with a travel agent from Chan Brothers to find out more on great honeymoon locations.  Also in this episode will be more on house renovation by Hamid & Sons.

 

EPISODE 8

 

Dol frets thinking of his stammering habits and meets with his cousin, who is an experienced Naib Kadi, Ustaz Syakir Pasuni to consult for advise for the solemnization.  They began to find out more on ‘adab bernikah’ and the essentials of marriage life.  Ely, the wedding planner introduced them to a henna specialist as they explore more on wedding essentials.  Also in this episode, HennaMomma, the henna specialists to add some colours to your hands and feet on your big day! 

What will happen during the solemnization? 

Will Dol be stammering and will he be able to go through the nervewrecking moment, at long last?
